Immersive Technologies

Virtual reality, interactive 3D, and digital twins — bringing your project data to life for stakeholders, operators, and decision makers.

Survey data and point clouds are inherently valuable — but their impact multiplies when non-technical stakeholders can see, understand, and interact with them directly. Our immersive technology services bridge the gap between raw spatial data and accessible visual experiences, building on the survey geometry we capture to deliver VR environments, browser-based 3D viewers, and live-connected digital twins. Every experience is grounded in real, accurate data — not an artistic approximation.

Virtual Reality

We build virtual reality environments grounded in real geospatial data — not artistic approximations. By combining our survey point clouds, photogrammetric models, and LiDAR terrain data with real-time rendering engines (Unreal Engine and Unity), we create VR experiences that accurately represent a site at true scale. Stakeholders can don a headset and walk the floor plan of a building that doesn't exist yet, stand on a proposed bridge deck, inspect a facility too hazardous to access in person, or review a heritage structure documented before demolition. The result is faster buy-in, fewer change orders, and a more engaged client through every project phase.

Interactive 3D

Interactive 3D makes your spatial data accessible to everyone on a project — engineers, owners, approvers, and the public — through a standard web browser, with no software installation required. We publish optimised 3D models, point clouds, and scene environments built on WebGL platforms including Potree, CesiumJS, and ArcGIS Scene Viewer. Users can orbit, zoom, slice, measure, and annotate from any desktop or mobile device. Deliverables are shareable by URL, embeddable in client portals, and access-controlled so you choose who sees what. The result is a single, always-available source of truth that keeps every stakeholder working from the same data.

Technologies Used Potree  |  CesiumJS  |  ArcGIS Scene Viewer

Digital Twins

A digital twin is more than a 3D model — it's a living, data-connected replica of a physical asset that evolves as the asset changes. We build digital twins by fusing our precise survey geometry (from laser scanning, RPAS LiDAR, and GNSS) with IoT sensor streams, BIM data, and operational records, creating a persistent spatial environment that reflects reality in near-real time. Where a static as-built becomes obsolete the moment construction changes, a digital twin stays current — tracking deformation, capturing updates through periodic resurveys, and surfacing anomalies before they become failures. Delivered as a hosted, browser-accessible dashboard your team can access without specialist software.
