Provenance
Map lineage across assets
Build provenance graphs that connect source layers, tile services, STAC catalogs, and earth-observation scenes to every downstream derivative in your product.
Project Iuris
Scan map layers, tile sources, STAC assets, and downstream derivatives. Iuris tells you whether a proposed use is allowed, what attribution applies, and if your full stack is license-compatible.
Iuris verdicts support legal review — they are not formal legal advice. Imperfect metadata and ambiguous contract language remain known limitations. Always involve qualified counsel for binding decisions.
Provenance
Build provenance graphs that connect source layers, tile services, STAC catalogs, and earth-observation scenes to every downstream derivative in your product.
License parsing
Automatically extract license terms, attribution requirements, and redistribution limits from metadata and attached contracts.
Compatibility
Determine whether licenses in a combined stack are compatible for your intended commercial use, not just individually valid.
Policy engine
Return structured policy results on commercial use, attribution obligations, and redistribution limits — ready for legal review.
01
Scan layers, tiles, STAC catalogs, and earth-observation scenes across your data estate.
02
Map provenance graphs and track derivatives through every downstream output.
03
Parse licenses and contracts; reason about compatibility across the full stack.
04
Return answers on commercial use, attribution, and redistribution limits.
What is Project Iuris used for?
Iuris is a metadata and contract engine for geospatial license compatibility. It scans your spatial data stack and determines whether a proposed commercial use is permitted, what attribution is required, and whether licenses are compatible when combined.
Does Iuris replace legal counsel?
No. Iuris outputs support legal review and accelerate due diligence. Imperfect metadata and ambiguous contract language remain known limitations. Always involve qualified counsel for binding decisions.
How is Iuris priced?
